Nigerian actress Nse Ikpe-Etim is an actor. She rose to fame in 2008 as a result of her work in Reloaded. She was nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the 5th and 8th Africa Movie Academy Awards for her roles in Reloaded and Mr. and Mrs., respectively.
At the 2014 Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards, she won the Best Actress in a Drama category for her work as "Nse" in Journey to Self.
Etim was born on October 21, 1974, in Lagos. Before pursuing her studies at St. Louis College in Jos and the Federal Government Colleges in Jos and Ilorin, Etim attended the Command Primary School and the Awa Nursery School in Kaduna State.
She stated that her family had regularly moved to different regions of Nigeria as a result of her father's work with the Central Bank of Nigeria. Etim received a top-notch theatre arts degree from the University of Calabar.
Etim is the oldest of six children. She confessed to having Caucasian godparents in a Toolz interview. On February 14, 2013, she wed Clifford Sule, a childhood friend, at a Lagos registrar.
On March 20, 2020, she declared that she had recently returned from the UK, one of the nations that had been most severely affected by the coronavirus, according to the Federal Ministry of Health.
The National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) had advised her to isolate herself, but she did as they said. Coworkers including Rita Dominic, Chika Ike, and Iyabo Ojo helped her out.
At the age of 18, Etim started doing performances on stage at the university. She made her broadcast debut in the family drama Inheritance. After graduating from college, she momentarily left the movie industry to focus on other hobbies until making a reappearance in Emem Isong's Reloaded alongside Ramsey Nouah, Rita Dominic, Ini Edo, and Desmond Elliot.
William Coupon, Bisila Bokoko, and Ade Adekola were among those interviewed with Nse Etim for the Supernova series for humanities in the Visual Collaborative Polaris collection, which was released in December 2019.
She had an appearance in Tope Oshin's 2020 film Quam's Money, the sequel to his 2018 film New Money.
The follow-up investigates what happens after a security guard (Quam) unpredictably gets wealthy. The new cast was directed by Falz, Toni Tones, Jemima Osunde, Blossom Chukwujekwu, and Nse Ikpe-Etim.
