Iyabo Ojo was born in Lagos, Nigeria, on December 21, 1977. According to this, she would turn 45 in December 2022 and be 44 at the moment.

The actress's parents are unknown, but her father is said to be from Abeokuta in Ogun State. She has two older brothers and is the youngest (last born) of three children.





Education

After completing her studies at the National College Gbagada in Lagos, she was accepted to the Lagos State Polytechnic (Laspotech) to pursue a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Estate Management.

Acting career

When she joined a theatrical club at the secondary faculty, she began acting. She began her professional career in 1998.

She stated in an interview about her acting career: "So after I had reached adulthood, I went to Bimbo Akintola after viewing one of her films... and told her I wanted to be an actress, and she or he helped me. She assisted me in registering with the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), and after that, she showed me around and introduced me to a lot of the people she knew in the business.





In 2004, Iyabo Ojo began making her movies. Bolutife was her first production; she then went on to produce Bofeboko, Ololufe, Esan, and Okunkun Biribiri.

Since then, she has appeared in more than 150 movies and has also directed more than 14 of them.

Iyabo Ojo married her ex-husband, a movie marketing based in Lagos, in 1999 when she was just 21 years old. She has frequently said that she may change her last name from Ojo.

Despite the fact that the marriage didn't work out, it was blessed with two kids.

She now acknowledged being in a relationship but swore to wait to post anything online about her new partner until after their nuptials.

Iyabo Ojo, one of the top Yoruba actresses, receives numerous endorsement deals and advertisements because to her massive Instagram following of over 5 million.

She also runs a catering company, a spa, and an event planning business. Most recently, she was a part of the reality television program Real Housewife of Lagos.

She allegedly had plans to marry Dino Melaye, a senator from Nigeria, in 2020, but Miwa and another actress, Biodun Okeowo, also known as Omoborty, allegedly forced her out of the union.
